We have been learning a lot about business since we have been up on the boardwalk. Everyone has been very supportive and they all have suggestions on how we can improve our business and make more money. Most every business on the boardwalk deals with cash so they have a better understanding of it than most. So, after a strong wind blew pretty much everone off the boardwalk Anthony and John came over to give us a lesson in spotting bogus bills. It turns out someone got a fake $100 bill so the lesson was on. In addition to looking for the watermark ( which is apparently pretty easy to fake) there are a number of other things to look for in real money versus the bullshit stuff. Look at the color and paper quality, if it’s off, start being suspicious, also all bills have a magentic strip with the denomonation on it running up the middle, however this can also be faked. Another thing to look for is print quality, it had better be crisp and not muddy or soft. probably the coolest trick we learned for determining the legitamacy of US currency is the fact that it has metal in it and as a result you can light a match on a real bill. pretty dope.
